7th Avenue Interchange Program to Finished Deadline by NLC
Islamabad: The 7th Avenue Interchange will be completed one month ahead of schedule, according to media sources published on Tuesday (February 15).

Due to the rapid rate of development, the project will be completed in September 2022, a month earlier than expected (15 October 2022). National Logistics Cell (NLC) has been awarded the contract for the 7th Avenue project for expedited completion by the CDA.
At the intersection of 7th Avenue and Green Avenue, an interchange would be constructed between Aabpara, Khayaban-e-Suhrawardy, and the Srinagar Highway. It will be shaped like a cloverleaf, with four loops on the left and right and an underpass connecting the two sections of Khayaban-e-Suhrawardy.

Notably, the interchange was supposed to be constructed in 2008, but no work has been made. The effort is said to alleviate the harmful effects of traffic congestion on commuters. People are frequently required to wait in line for extended periods of time, particularly during school and work hours.
