Amazon Adds Pakistan to Approved Sellers List
Prime Minister Abdul Razak Dawood’s Trade and Investment Advisor recently announced that US e-commerce giant Amazon has added Pakistan to its list of approved sellers.

The advisor said they have been partnering with Amazon since last year and this is a great opportunity for Pakistani youth, small and medium enterprises and female entrepreneurs.
Pakistan is said to have received Amazon’s approval to join the Verified Sellers list. The updated list of countries will be posted on Amazon’s official website in the next 12-24 hours.

Amazon has long avoided allowing Pakistani sellers to sell their products on Amazon. It used to be a laborious process to sell on Amazon from Pakistan, all in the gray areas.
Users will create an account on Amazon outside of Pakistan, have products shipped to authorized locations in other countries, from where they will be shipped to Amazon. Amazon will then deliver these products to the customer.
Earlier, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for political affairs, Mr. Shahbaz Gill made a similar announcement on his personal Twitter page.

Mr. Gill said Pakistan has now entered the global market, which will bring billions of dollars to the country in the form of investment and job opportunities.
