CDA Held a Meeting to Give Transport Solutions
ISLAMABAD, May 27, 2022- A meeting of higher authorities of CDA was held at CDA headquarters. Several plausible solutions were announced to resolve the transport issues of the residents of Islamabad.
Two separate summaries for transportation in Islamabad were authorized by the CDA Board. The CDA board has approved blue and green line bus routes, as well as temporary bus service using surplus buses arriving from China at the end of the month. Under the blue line, CDA provides a comprehensive solution from Koral to PIMS, and under the green line, from Bharaku to PIMS. Now, complete bus routes will be linked, allowing passengers to board from Bharaku and choose between a final route to Pindi or the airport. As a result of this project, Islamabad will be the first city in Pakistan to provide multiple connectivity to all four corners of the city. It is intended that this will not only assist in the resolution of traffic and environmental problems but will also bring a new trend in public transportation.
