Kaghan Roads Should Be Repaired, as Per Locals
Monday during an open kutcheri, inhabitants of the Naran region in the Kaghan valley voiced their concerns and encouraged the relevant authorities to address them, according to reports from Mansehra. They requested immediate road repairs and the relocation of the Kaghan Development Authority’s offices from Mansehra to Balakot.

The district administration held an event that was attended by the special assistant to the chief minister on population, MPA Ahmad Hussain Shah, the deputy commissioner, Dr. Qasim Ali Khan, the chairman of the KDA, Aimal Zaman, and other relevant officials.
The lake Saiful Muluk Road was in poor shape, according to Mohammad Sabir of the Jeep Drivers Association. Even though the provincial government gained large toll revenues at two locations, neither the KDA nor the Department of Communications and Public Works claimed ownership of the route, according to him.
Mr. Sabir added that due to the negligence of the responsible authorities, trash had accumulated everywhere, including beside the lake. He said that garbage posed a threat to the water supply.
The operation against encroachments in Kaghan is concluded, and hotel owners have set a deadline.
Mohammad Riaz, Mohammad Waheed, Naveed Khalil, and Mohammad Rustom voiced their discontent with the region’s lack of drinkable water, power outages, and graves. Mr. Riaz expressed his displeasure with the illegal occupation of the evacuee department’s land in the Naran region. DC Dr. Qasim guaranteed that the issues of the populace would be dealt expeditiously and effectively.
