LAHORE: In stepping up its campaign against those who have not paid the commercialization fee, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished 13 additional illegitimate buildings in Johar Town and along Defence Road.
A team under the command of Azhar Ali, the Operation Chief Town Planner II, took decisive action during the ongoing crackdown, acting directly on directives from Commissioner Lahore and LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

In the process of the operation, multiple properties were sealed and unlawful shops, sheds, stores, shutters, expansions, and flats were demolished.
