1,500 NPHP Units Delivered to Workers
Islamabad: According to news reports, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan gave workers the keys to 1,500 affordable apartments and homes built under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) initiative.

Addressing the function, the PM underlined his desire to elevate the vulnerable and downtrodden elements of society. After voting on the completed residences, Zulfi Bukhari, the PM’s adviser, delivered a speech on Pakistanis living abroad.
In distributing the NPHP apartments’ keys, the PM recognised the difficulties associated with home ownership in the current financial climate. According to him, the government is providing a PKR 300,000 subsidy for each unit, and the subsidised markup rate for NPHP units would remain at 5% for the ensuing 20 years.
Bukhari stated during his speech that the Workers Welfare Fund has built 500 houses and 1,008 flats during the project’s inaugural phase.

According to him, these units were given to the employees based on their “proprietary rights”. An additional 1,504 units will be built in the next phase.
