16 New Dams to Be Constructed in Pakistan in 2023
The decision to build 16 additional dams in the province was made at a meeting on the status of the South Baluchistan Development Program, which was presided over by Chief Minister Baluchistan Jam Kamal. In addition to discussing the finance strategies outlined in the development package, the discussion also covered new and continuing projects.

The chief minister’s principal secretary, secretaries from the relevant departments, and representatives from the planning and development department all attended.
The package contains 199 ongoing and new projects totaling Rs6 billion, it was explained to the conference. In nine districts of South Baluchistan, infrastructure for public health, education, and roads will be given.
The expansion of agricultural markets and the integration of livestock markets with other significant domestic markets through e-commerce were both mentioned at the meeting.
