The Iranian health ministry claims that Israeli strikes killed at least 627 individuals in Iran during the conflict.
An updated death toll following Israel’s attacks on Iranian land, according to information that surfaced on Wednesday, was released by the health ministry spokesperson. Hossein Kermanpour wrote on X that the Israeli strikes resulted in at least 627 fatalities and 4,870 injuries.
According to him, Tehran suffered the most casualties, followed by Kermanshah. There have also been reports of significant losses in Isfahan, Khuzestan, and Lorestan.
Kermanpour wrote, “I neither pass nor judge.” “I leave it to humanity’s conscience to describe the agonizing scenes of wounded children, mothers, and arriving civilians.”
About 86.1% of the victims passed away at the site, and 13.9% passed away in the hospital from their wounds.
