Four bogies of the Jafar Express derailled on Monday due to an explosion on the railway track in Mastung’s Spezand district, according to Quetta police.
The train was traveling to Quetta from Peshawar.
Police say the explosion happened while the Jafar Express was traveling through Spezand. The derailment occurred as a result of the strong explosion that damaged a section of the railroad track.
The event resulted in injuries to three people. They were moved to Quetta for medical care, according to authorities. So far, no fatalities have been reported.
