In the early hours of Wednesday, a gas pipeline that supplies natural gas to Punjab was blown up in the Lakki Marwat district’s Wanda Ameer area.
According to reports, unknown people were responsible for the explosion, which took place in the dark. The detonation, according to the locals, was strong enough to be heard for kilometres.
A sizable police and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) force arrived at the scene shortly after the explosion to evaluate the damage and safeguard the area.
According to police sources, this specific pipeline has already been the subject of other attacks. “The explosion of this pipeline segment is not the first time.”
