ACE Inquiries RDA Officials for Land Grabbing Case
The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has been investigated by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) in response to a complaint made by a local landlord. The claim states that RDA officers helped a private housing society’s owner buy government-owned land in Mouza Kalri illegally. Mr. Shahid Sharif, the Circle Officer (CO) of the ACE Rawalpindi Region, alerted the upper RDA officials in response to Mr. Muhammad Safeer Raja’s complaint.

The sources disclosed that the complaint, 854-cc-2023, was sent to the RDA’s top officials. High-ranking RDA officials are set to show up in an anti-graft committee hearing on Friday in response to allegations that they colluded with Mr. Raja Ishaq to carry out his alleged illegal expansion.
According to the latest information, Muhammad Safeer Raja, a Kalri resident, went to the CO of the ACE Rawalpindi Region to file a complaint. He included Raja Ishaq’s claimed inauguration of the “Clifton Town” housing development next to the Gulshanabad Housing Society on Adiala Road in the complaint.

Additionally, Safeer Raja asserted that Raja Ishaq had illegally increased the size of his home development by infringing into land that belonged to the state and other nearby landowners. He continued by saying that the Land Revenue Department and RDA officers conspired to facilitate the crime.
The applicant also claimed that the land revenue officer (Patwari) had changed the property records to say that Raja Ishaq held a plot of land that measured 24 kanals and 18 marlas.
