Administrator Promises to Improve City’s Infrastructure
Laeeq Ahmed, the administrator of Karachi, stated that the administration was working to maintain highways and underpasses for efficient traffic flow as part of efforts to improve the city infrastructure.

Shahrah-i-Qadhafi in district West was in disrepair and has been rendered motorable by road rehabilitation and repair, according to the administrator, who was giving instructions to the director general of engineering department regarding roads and street lights.
According to Laeeq Ahmed, infrastructure development is necessary in order to address common issues.

He claimed that the KMC engineering team is immediately sent for road rebuilding and other activities in locations where the roads are in poor condition.
According to the administrator, some of the underpasses’ lights were in poor shape and could cause accidents. As a result, the electrical team of the engineering department is also repairing such lights.

According to Mr. Ahmed, infrastructure checks should be prioritized in regions with heavy traffic, and people should be assisted using all available resources.
