On Thursday, the interim federal government declared that the cost of gasoline and high-speed diesel will rise.
The Finance Division has announced a rise in petrol prices of Rs. 2.73 per litre to Rs. 275.62 per liter and an increase in high-speed diesel prices of Rs. 8.37 per litre to Rs. 287.3 per liter. The revised rates will take effect on February 16.
During the most recent biweekly assessment of fuel costs, the interim administration also raised the cost of gasoline and high-speed diesel.

The price of high-speed diesel climbed by Rs. 2.75 per liter to Rs. 278.96 per liter at the moment, while the price of gasoline jumped by Rs. 13.55 per liter to Rs. 272.89 per liter.
