Except for the Peshawar-Islamabad motorway, all motorways are open for travel, according to the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP). The NHMP has assured the public that traffic will move smoothly and urged people to plan their trips without worrying. The NHMP has advised drivers to visit their official social media channels or call the toll-free number at 130 for the most recent information on road and traffic conditions.
To guarantee a safe travel experience, the public is also encouraged to monitor weather conditions and adhere to safety procedures. Following the conclusion of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest, Islamabad, Lahore, and the neighboring districts quickly returned to normal.
After a massive operation late last night, protesters left important areas such as Islamabad’s Blue Area and D-Chowk. Several protesters have returned to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and vehicles that had been blocking roads and highways have been removed.
Traffic is moving smoothly again after major routes like the Express Highway, which was severely clogged during the protests, were cleared.
