Orders Given of Operation Against Illegal Housing Schemes
Rawalpindi: The Director-General of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Saif Anwar Jappa, has instructed the enforcement team to intensify its ongoing campaign against illegal housing societies.
According to an RDA spokesperson, a significant operation targeting violators was carried out, focusing on three unlawful housing projects: Islamabad Marina City in Mouza Garbal, Pakistan Employees Cooperative Housing Society in Mouza Mohri Khatran and Garbal, and Seven Enclave Housing Society in Mauza Garbal Fateh Jang Road.
As part of the operation, the site offices of these illegal housing complexes were demolished.
The RDA enforcement team is taking stringent action against unauthorized housing developments, as stated by the spokesperson. The owners of the illegal housing complexes have also received notifications regarding their violations.

In a previous operation, booking offices, billboards, and the main gates of Cighu Farmhouse Housing Scheme in Mouza Chak Cighu, Royal Ghar Housing Scheme in Mouza Pariyal, Chak Beli Khan Road, and New Iqra City/Iqra Residencia in Mouza Chakri, Jorian Rawat Road, were also demolished.
Additionally, the RDA Squads Directorate issued notices to the owners of five illegal private housing schemes: Green lake City in Dhoke Bhaia Rawat, Chak Beli Khan Road; Safanza New Era in Ralla Gujrain Chak Beli Khan Road; Royal Ghar (Apna Ghar) in Mouza Paryal Chak Beli Khan Road; New Iqra City in Mouza Dheri Jorian, Rawat; and Hoon Farm House in Mouza Adiala Road, for their violation of rules.
