Apple has launched the AirPods Pro 3, its latest wireless earbuds, with major upgrades in sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort, and smart features that push them beyond just music listening.
The new AirPods Pro 3 continue with Apple’s H2 chip but introduce a redesigned multiport acoustic system with inward-facing microphones and improved airflow. This setup delivers deeper bass, a wider soundstage, and clearer vocals, paired with Bluetooth 5.3 for stronger performance. Apple says the new design makes the Pro 3 a serious rival to leading audio brands.
One of the biggest highlights is active noise cancellation. Apple claims the Pro 3 now offers the world’s best in-ear ANC, canceling twice as much noise as the previous model. They also feature improved passive isolation with five eartip sizes, including a new XXS option for smaller ears.
Battery life has also been improved, with up to eight hours of playback with ANC on and 10 hours in Transparency mode. The charging case now provides 24 hours of backup instead of 30, but Apple says the earbuds themselves last longer on a single charge. The case also includes a new U2 chip for more accurate location tracking.
The AirPods Pro 3 are designed with a slimmer, more ergonomic fit and come with advanced features like heart-rate monitoring, IP57 water resistance, and even a camera control button on the stems for hands-free photo and video capture.
Perhaps the most groundbreaking addition is live translation. At launch, it supports English, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish. By pinching both stems, users can access real-time translation or view live transcripts on their iPhone screen, powered by Apple Intelligence and iOS 26.
With these updates, Apple is positioning the AirPods Pro 3 not just as premium earbuds, but as smart lifestyle devices built for both entertainment and everyday use.
