At Churu railway station in Rajasthan, a 70-year-old man’s life was saved after a quick-thinking youth rushed him to the hospital on a motorcycle when his health suddenly worsened.
The man, identified as Bhala Ram from Haryana, was traveling back from Jaisalmer with his family when he collapsed due to a severe drop in blood sugar levels. His condition quickly turned critical, leaving his family in distress.
Shubham, a young bystander at the station, immediately stepped in. Without wasting a moment, he placed the elderly man on his motorcycle and, along with the patient’s son, sped to the nearest hospital emergency ward.
Doctors later confirmed that the patient’s condition was life-threatening and that without immediate medical care, survival would have been difficult. Thanks to Shubham’s timely action, Bhala Ram received treatment on time and is now recovering well.
Hospital staff praised the youth’s courage and presence of mind, highlighting the importance of quick response during medical emergencies.
A video of the rescue, showing Shubham carefully carrying the man to safety, has gone viral on social media. People across platforms hailed him as a real-life hero, with many comparing the moment to a famous scene from the film “Three Idiots.”
The elderly man is now stable, and his family expressed deep gratitude to Shubham for saving his life. Online users described the act as a shining example of humanity and said society needs more people like him.
