The Balochistan government has announced an extension of the summer vacations for Schools, colleges, and other educational institutions throughout the province. According to the latest notification of Summer Vacations, classes will resume on August 15. This decision was made following the directives of Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.

Similarly, the Sindh government has also extended the Summer Vacations break for all Schools and Colleges in the province until August 14 due to ongoing weather conditions. The Sindh Education Department confirmed that the new academic year will begin on August 15. Provincial Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah cited severe heat and forecasted monsoon rains as reasons for the extension.

Shah also mentioned that educational institutions will hold Independence Day celebrations on August 14.
