The renowned television host and writer from Pakistan, Anwar Maqsood, has denied the rumors that he was arrested.
“Everyone was saying that Anwar Maqsood was arrested,” Maqsood remarked in an exclusive interview with Samaa TV. But there was no proof that I had been arrested. I have never written for institutions or the government.
“Whatever, I wrote is meant for the public,” he stated.
The drama “House Arrest” has been performed in Lahore in the meantime. “The drama has nothing to do with the politics,” producer Wajiha stated when discussing the show. The drama has now been performed in Lahore after previously appearing in various other places.
