Apple is set to host its annual fall hardware event on September 9, 2025, with major product launches expected. The company is preparing to reveal the iPhone 17 lineup, along with new versions of the Apple Watch and AirPods. This year’s highlight could be the debut of the iPhone Air, rumored to be Apple’s slimmest smartphone ever.

The iPhone 17 is expected to get a fresh design closer to the Pro models. Reports suggest it may feature a 6.3-inch 120Hz display, a 24-megapixel front camera, and new color options in purple and green. Pricing for the standard version is expected to start at $800.

The iPhone 17 Pro may introduce a rectangular camera bar on the back, while switching from titanium to lighter aluminum. It could also launch in dark blue and copper shades. Storage options may change as well, with the Pro starting at 256GB instead of 128GB. Prices may begin at $1,050. The Pro Max could have a slightly thicker design to support a larger battery, with pricing expected at $1,250.

The iPhone Air is anticipated to be one of the most talked-about launches. Expected to replace the Plus model, it may feature a 5.5 mm profile, making it thinner than Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge. With a 6.6-inch display, a single rear camera, and no bottom button, it could stand out as the thinnest iPhone ever. The expected price is $950, and color options may include black, silver, and light gold. Analysts suggest this slim design may open the way for Apple’s first foldable phone, likely in 2026.

Apple is also preparing to refresh its smartwatch lineup. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 could come with faster charging, 5G, satellite connectivity, and a larger screen. Health features such as blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection are rumored but might not be ready at launch. The Apple Watch Series 11 may include some of these upgrades, while the SE 3 is expected to receive minor updates like a larger display or a lower-cost plastic version. Pricing is expected to be $250 for the SE 3, $400 for the Series 11, and $800 for the Ultra 3.

Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 are also likely to make an appearance. Reports suggest a slimmer case, smaller earbuds, new touch-sensitive controls, and an upgraded H3 chip to improve noise cancellation and adaptive audio.

With thinner smartphones, improved health tracking, and AI-ready updates, Apple’s September 2025 event could be one of its most ambitious product announcements in recent years.
