Arab-Pakistan Business Forum Being Scheduled
Karachi: According to Palestine’s United Exhibitions and Conferences CEO Haityam Yakhluf, the Arab-Pakistan Business Forum and Exposition would give the business sectors of both countries a chance to engage and explore opportunities for joint ventures and investment in the areas of interest.

Both parties discussed the possibility of hosting the first Arab-Pakistan Business Forum and Exhibition in Pakistan in September or October of this year in order to advance trade and investment relations between the two sides during an online meeting with Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).
Khan expressed his optimism that the meeting would be a good beginning towards turning the prospective chances into reality and noted that Pakistan’s economy was diverse and had great potential for fostering trade and investment connections with the Gulf countries.

He listed prospective industries for trade, joint ventures, and investment between Pakistan and the Arab nations as being textile, rice, fruits and vegetables, oil and gas, construction and real estate, cement, IT, pharmaceutical, leather, sports, electronics, and light engineering.
