In the ongoing Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan and India will square off once more after securing spots in the event’s Super 4 phase.
The Men in Blue, who defeated Nepal on Monday, joined Pakistan as the second team from Group A to advance to the Super 4.
On Sunday, September 10, the arch-rivals India and Pakistan will square off in the Super 4 round.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC), which is considering moving the matches from Colombo, which was originally the venue for Super 4 contests, due to terrible weather, the match is likely to be played in Hambantota.

In Kandy, Sri Lanka, on Saturday, the highly anticipated Group A match between Pakistan and India during the Asia Cup 2023 was called off owing to rain.
Pakistan was unable to bat because of the prolonged rain, which made it impossible for them to meet India’s 267-run mark.
The washout also meant that Pakistan had advanced to the tournament’s Super 4 round. In their first game, Pakistan had already defeated Nepal.
At the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, India was bowled for 266 after choosing to bat first against Pakistan after winning the toss.

After India had slid to 66-4 inside of 15 overs, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya each struck fifty runs to help their side get back into the match.
For the fifth wicket, Pandya (87 off 90) and Kishan (82 off 81) contributed 138 runs in 141 balls.
With stats of 4-35 in 10 overs, pacer Shaheen Afridi was Pakistan’s preferred bowler. He claimed the precious heads of Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Pandya, and Rohit Sharma.
For Pakistan, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah both secured three wickets.
