The hosts Pakistan are the only team that has formally guaranteed its spot in the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four round.
The Super Four are now one step closer to Bangladesh after their 89-run victory over Afghanistan on Sunday in Lahore.
Bangladesh’s run rate increased as a result of the large margin of victory, and they are now in a comfortable position where they can wait for the outcome of Afghanistan vs. Sri Lanka to officially confirm their advancement to the next round.

Sri Lanka, meanwhile, came close to advancing to the next round after defeating Bangladesh by five wickets in their Asia Cup opener.
However, if Afghanistan defeats them handily, they would still not advance to the following round.
“Bangladesh has earned a spot in the Super Four round. According to cricket statistician Mazher Arshad, Afghanistan must defeat Sri Lanka by roughly 70 runs or complete the chase in roughly 36 overs in order to advance.
