Australian fitness enthusiast Olivia Vinson has set a new Guinness World Record for the most pull-ups completed in 24 hours by a female, completing an extraordinary 7,079 pull-ups. The 34-year-old shattered the previous record of 4,081, set by Polish athlete Paula Gorlo in 2021, nearly doubling the benchmark in a remarkable feat of endurance and strength.

Initially hesitant when her husband and coach suggested the challenge, Vinson began to consider the possibility after calculating the required pace. The road to the record, however, was far from smooth. Her first attempt ended prematurely due to a bicep tendon injury just 12 hours into the challenge, sidelining her for two months.

Undeterred, Vinson resumed her training and launched a second attempt. During the final record-setting performance, she faced severe fatigue and nausea around the 19-hour mark but maintained an average of five pull-ups per minute to reach her goal.

Speaking to Guinness World Records, Vinson described the experience as a powerful testament to human resilience and potential. She said achieving a goal she once believed impossible highlights the mental and physical limits people can surpass. Her success not only sets a new global standard but also inspires athletes worldwide to push beyond their perceived capabilities.
