Bank Alfalah Honoured as ‘Most Inclusive Organisation’ at 2026 GDEIB Awards

Bank Alfalah has been named one of the Most Inclusive Companies in 2026 at the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Benchmarks Awards, marking a major achievement for Pakistan’s banking sector on an international platform.

The recognition came after a detailed and evidence-based disclosure process, followed by an independent evaluation conducted by an international jury. This year, 44 national and multinational companies participated in the awards, submitting documented proof of their policies, people practices, workplace culture, and inclusion strategies. Bank Alfalah emerged as the top performer overall and was recognized as the Most Inclusive Company in 2026.

The bank also won awards in 15 different Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Benchmark categories. These included vision and strategy, leadership and accountability, DEI structure and implementation, recruitment, advancement and retention, job design and compensation, work-life balance and benefits, assessment and measurement, DEI communications, learning and development, sustainability integration, community and government relations, services and product development, marketing and customer service, and responsible sourcing.

The awards are based on the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Benchmarks framework, which is widely recognized worldwide. The framework helps organizations measure and improve inclusion through clear standards and structured evaluation.

Bank Alfalah has continued to strengthen its identity as a caring and responsible financial institution in Pakistan. The bank has played an active role in national relief and long-term community development efforts. After the devastating floods in 2022, Bank Alfalah contributed 10 million US dollars. It later pledged an additional 5 million US dollars in response to the 2025 floods, bringing its total commitment to 15 million US dollars. These funds are being used to support infrastructure rehabilitation, climate-smart agriculture, and long-term recovery for affected communities.

In addition to disaster relief, Bank Alfalah works with more than 30 partner non-governmental organizations across Pakistan. These partnerships focus on education, empowerment, healthcare, and environmental protection, in line with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The recognition highlights Bank Alfalah’s continued focus on building an inclusive workplace and embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into its governance and daily operations. The bank aims to promote equal opportunity, representation, and a strong sense of belonging for employees across all levels of the organization.
