President of Tourism for Interfaith Peace and Development and President of Lake Shore Club, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, stated that the upcoming budget should be investor- and tourism-friendly. He urged the government to introduce practical measures in the next budget that would not only strengthen the economy but also project Pakistan as a safe and attractive hub for investment in the region.
He said that in the context of the current global situation, Pakistan has emerged as an alternative and secure market, and the government should take full advantage of this important opportunity. He further demanded that special incentives be announced for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to create employment opportunities and boost economic activity.
He expressed hope that the government will take these suggestions into consideration in the upcoming budget and implement measures that will not only increase investment but also provide long-term economic stability.
