Building of Hoshab-Awaran Road Launched
The 146-kilometer Hoshab-Awaran Road project is a crucial component of the CPEC core alignment, which links the Sindh province with Gwadar Port.
The government’s top objective, according to retired Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa, chairman of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority, is to improve the connectivity of the Gwadar port with the rest of the nation.

Showing images and a plan of the under-construction roads, the CPEC Authority chairman said that 60 percent development had been accomplished in the Basima-Khuzdar road project while work on the construction of Hoshab-Awaran road had also been started.
The project will cost approximately Rs 20 billion and be finished in three years.

Similarly, the 106-km-long Basima-Khuzdar road (N-30) is projected to be finished by end of current year at an estimated cost of Rs 11.749bn.
Speaking about the roads that have been constructed thus far as part of the corridor project, a representative of the CPEC Authority stated that the 235-kilometer Hoshab-Surab (N-25) road and the 449-kilometer Hoshab-Surab (N-85) road had both reached completion and were now operational.

Also, the 250-km Ratodero-Khuzdar (M-8) road and the 193-km Gwadar-Hoshab (M-8) road were finished and put into service, the official continued.
