CAA Clarifies Earlier Restriction on Pakistanis Travelers
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has clarified that there is no necessity for travellers to present a card or certificate attesting to their polio immunization. It is important to note that the recent confusion was caused by an internal communication from Islamabad Airport that has already been cancelled and was never meant to act as a polio travel advise.
The CAA has advised the general public to proceed with the utmost caution if they come across internet ads that ask for money or private information regarding polio immunization cards. Misinformation has been widely available online, and profiteers have seized the opportunity. The general public is recommended to exercise caution and to confirm the legitimacy of any such offers before acting.
