A shocking road accident in Jodhpur left a driver and a camel injured after the animal crashed into a moving car and became trapped inside it. The unusual collision took place when a camel suddenly ran onto the road, giving the driver no chance to stop the vehicle.
According to eyewitnesses, the impact was so strong that the camel broke through the car’s roof and windscreen, leaving its head and upper body stuck inside the vehicle. Video footage from the scene shows the animal struggling to move as the damaged car’s roof, bumper, bonnet and front glass collapsed from the force of the crash.
Local residents quickly gathered at the spot and managed to pull the injured driver, identified as Ramsingh, out of the vehicle. He received first aid on the site and was later shifted to Jodhpur for medical treatment. Reports say he suffered serious injuries.
The camel remained trapped inside the car for almost two hours. Authorities, along with local volunteers, used machinery to cut parts of the vehicle and safely free the animal. The camel also sustained injuries and was taken for treatment.
