ISLAMABAD: Following clearance from the Election Commission of Pakistan, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced a dramatic reorganization of its top officers on Thursday.
According to a formal announcement made by the Human Resource Directorate:

- Former Director General Electrical and Mechanical Mr. Manzoor Hussain Shah has been promoted to Director General Inspection.
- Former Director General of Building Control Mr. Muhammad Khalid Nawaz will now serve as Director General of Electrical and Mechanical.
- Mr. Faisal Naeem, who formerly served as the Chairman’s Director Technical, has been appointed to Director General Building Control.
- Mr. Rajish Kumar has been chosen to serve as the Chairman’s new technical director.
- The additional duties of Market and Road Maintenance have also been given to Mr. Abdul Fatah Mako. In addition, Mr. Omer Sagheer has been appointed as the division’s director for the machinery pool.
- The hiring of Mr. Asad Abbas, who was previously the Director of the Human Resource Directorate, as the Director of Estate Management is one of the other major changes.
- The positions of Director of Enforcement and Director of Labor Relations have been assigned to Mr. Waqas Ali Khan and Mr. Iftikhar Ali Hydri, respectively. Mr. Shah Nawaz Khan has also been assigned the additional responsibility of serving as CDA’s Deputy Financial Advisor.
These adjustments are a result of the CDA’s continual efforts to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness. The reorganization is anticipated to provide the organization new views and a fresh start.
