CDA Approved Rs. 5.4 Billion Project to Extend Margalla Avenue
Islamabad: According to the most recent information, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved a project to expand Margalla Avenue from the N-5 to the M-1 Motorway, costing Rs. 5.4 billion. Within 8 months, the project is anticipated to be finished. 2.4 kilometres of land would be purchased by CDA, and the project would take 8 months to complete.

The plan for construction supervision was adopted at the meeting, according to the report. This project also includes building an intersection on N-5 (GT Road). The meeting also authorised a project worth roughly Rs186 million to add 15 beds to CDA Capital Hospital.
It is important to note that the meeting also approved the PC-II of the project consultancy services to conduct the Road Safety Audit in Islamabad. Therefore, as part of this project, the consultant will develop suggestions for efficient and secure road traffic.
