CDA Approved the Construction of a Flyover at Srinagar Highway
ISLAMABAD, November 11, 2022- Chairman CDA Muhammad Usman Younis has approved the construction of flyover at Srinagar Highway.
The Srinagar Highway will shortly have a flyover built, and traffic from Faqir Apiee Road will enter at a roundabout. This elevated flyover will be constructed at the Police Line Chowk intersection of the Faqir Aipee Road and the Srinagar Highway. Muhammad Usman gave the appropriate parties the order to design the congested areas of the Srinagar Highway. On the Srinagar Highway, U-turns were made to reduce traffic congestion. Due to the Srinagar Highway becoming signal-free, the accident rate has skyrocketed. The meeting was held to come up with a solution. The expert suggested a flyover and elevated U-turns at the intersection of 10th Avenue and the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) during the discussion. Following this recommendation, the CDA chairman gave the go-ahead for the construction of a premier flyover at Srinagar Highway.
