CDA Chief for Early Completion of New Blocks at Capital Hospital
Islamabad: Amer Ali Ahmed, the chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), inspected the Capital Hospital’s new building on Sunday and he commanded that they be finished as soon as possible.

According to the report, the Chairman was informed by officials that the demolition of existing blocks, the transfer of services, and the lockdown caused by the corona pandemic had all delayed the construction of new blocks.
The chairman, however, was informed that the building of new blocks is currently in full swing.
Six consultants, eight medical officers, and four rooms for diagnostic procedures will be available in the five-story facility with a basement, which will house all OPDs and diagnostic centres. ECG, ETT, echocardiography, and gastroscopy are only a few of the diagnostic procedures offered.
Moreover, a 33-bed full (male) medical ward will be constructed on the ground floor, and a 33-bed women’s ward will be constructed on the first floor.

16 beds, a CCU, an angiography suite, a VIP cardiac room, a nurse’s station, duty rooms, and a medical supply store will be built on the second floor.
