CDA Constructed Grand Operations Against Illegal Constructions
ISLAMABAD, November 18, 2022- On the orders of CDA Chairman Captain (R) Muhammad Usman Younis, the Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday carried out massive operations against illegal buildings in various parts of Islamabad with the aid of the ICT administration and Islamabad Police.
The CDA actions resulted in the use of heavy gear to destroy dozens of illegal constructions. 13 trucks of encroachment material were also taken during these operations, along with 60 kanals of land. From Mouza Kuri Dhok Balag, an Islamabad suburb where the land mafia was attempting to occupy government land, these operations were launched. These constructions were discovered during a demarcation process by the Revenue Department CDA on land that CDA had recently acquired. Similar to this, the Enforcement Department has launched a special campaign to remove encroachment from public corridors, public passages, and walkways in the marakiz and commercial sectors of Islamabad in accordance with the orders of Chairman Usman Younis. Every day, operations are conducted in a number of Islamabad’s marakiz and commercial areas. In Sector F-11 Markaz, F-10 Markaz, F-7 Markaz, and G-9/4 Peshawar Mor, the enforcement department vigorously combated encroachments during this campaign. Roadside stalls, public passages, and numerous other footpath stalls were taken down, and nine trucks’ worth of encroachment-related supplies were seized.
