CDA DWP Approves Development Projects
Islamabad: The appropriate departmental officers were present at the Capital Development Authority Development Working Party (CDA-DWP) meeting, which was conducted at the CDA Headquarters under the direction of Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal.
A number of development projects were presented for approval after careful examination.
The updated PC-1 for the development of a medical facility in the extra block of Capital Hospital was approved. The newly constructed block at Capital Hospital was originally designed to house 100 beds, but permission has been given to add 50 extra by diverting money from PC-1.

The undertaking would cost Rs186.394 million and take six months to complete.
Similar to this, the CDA/DWP meeting saw approval of PC-1, the construction supervision project for the Margalla Avenue N-5 to M-I extension project.
Between Margalla Avenue and Motorway M-I, 2.4 km of land must be purchased as part of this project in order to build this route.

The construction of the N-5 interchange is another element of this project. It will cost Rs. 5,452.001 million to finish the project, which would take eight months.
