The four-day plot auction held by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) concluded on Friday. Plots for businesses and residences were auctioned off.
By selling 25 plots at the end of the auction, CDA brought in an incredible Rs. 12.90 billion.
According to a press release from the civic authority, “plots of fruit, vegetable, and meat shops measuring 16.67 square yards were auctioned on the last day of the auction.”
Details show that plot #4 in sector F-8/4 brought in Rs. 43.52 million at auction, while plot #5 brought in Rs. 45.19 million.

Plots #1, #2, and #3 of the fruit, vegetable, and meat shop each received bids of Rs. 19.67 million, Rs. 20.34 million, and Rs. 29.42 million.
The final day of the auction featured two residential plots: plot #1, which brought in Rs. 183 million, and plot #6, which brought in Rs. 255 million. Additionally, the 611.11 square yards commercial plot #7 of the Blue Area brought in Rs. 1.033 billion at auction.
A committee led by the Member Estate oversaw the auction. The committee’s efforts to maintain transparency throughout the process were praised by Chairman CDA.
The CDA Board will now conduct a thorough examination of each and every bid that has been received. The “competent forum to accept or reject the bids” is in charge here.
