CDA Enforces Stricter Duties to Handle Monsoon Emergencies
ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Noor ul Amin Mengal, has taken decisive steps to prepare for the monsoon rains and potential problems in the Federal Capital.
In order to assure their presence in the field with cutting-edge equipment, monitoring water levels in drains and nullahs round-the-clock, the Chairman has cancelled leaves for all officers and staff.
The CDA has also turned on emergency response centres to take care of any problems that may arise right away.

The news announcement further cautions that police and workers who are negligent in their duties would face serious consequences.
As a result of the meticulous effort of special teams from the CDA, Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, and the district administration deployed in various sectors and rural regions, there are currently no obstacles in the flow of water in the drains and nullahs.
Additionally, to prepare for any potential emergencies that might occur during the monsoon season, the concerned staff in low-lying areas has been placed on high alert and given tougher duties.
