CDA Gives Information on Forthcoming Developments in Islamabad

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) of Islamabad has published a revised timetable of planned construction projects on June 27. Noorul Amin Mengal, the chairman of the CDA, claimed in a tweet that the government has requested bids for these programmes.

The majority of the projects are related to street paving, road widening, and road restoration. The following is a description of the CDA’s new road initiatives:

Talhar to Kingrian Village, U.C. Saidpur, Islamabad road upgrade/improvement
Pind Parian Road reconstruction between Benazir Chowk and Pind Parian
Rehabilitation of internal roads in U.C. Jhangi Syedan
Internal roads in UC as well as the reconstruction of Sarai Kharbooza Road between Niazi Chowk and Qilla.
RCC Nullah is being built in Khayam Town. Building retaining walls alongside Nullah at Golra Sharif Street Pavements in the U.C. Thalla Syedan, Jhangi Syedan, Bhadana Kalan, and Sheikhpur Street Pavements in the U.C. Shah Allah Ditta, Dhrek Mohra, and Mera Jaffar Villages

Development of UC Said Pur (UC-I), UC Noor Pur Shahan (UC-4 & UC-5), and street pavements Building paved streets and improving sanitation in UC Malpur (UC-6), UC Kot Hathial North (UC-7, UC-8, & UC-9) and UC-16). Improvements to sewage systems and road surfaces in Pind Bhagwal, Kuri, Tumair, Herno Thanda Pani, Chirah, and Kirpa Development of sewage systems and roads in Tumair, Herno Thanda Pani, Chirah, and Kirpa

Gagri, Kural, Gangal, Kanna Dak-l, Tarlai Khurd, and Gohra Sardar road and sanitation improvements.

Tarlai Kalan, Khadarapar, Alipur, Panjgran, Farash, Mohrian Tamma, and Chatha Bakhtawar have sanitation and pavement improvements.

In Lakhwal, Khana Dak-2, Khanna Kak, Khanna Dak-3, Shakerial Sharki, and Sakhana, improvements have been made to the roads and the sanitary system.

Road widening of Kuri

In addition to its new road construction projects, CDA’s environment division is carefully choosing plant specimens for the Bhara Kahu bypass reforestation effort. In order to aid in the restoration of the area’s vegetation, it plans to plant 50,000 trees.
