Islamabad: On Wednesday, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) conducted a crucial meeting of its Design Review Committee at its headquarters. Representatives from several agencies, including the Authority’s Planning Wing, attended the meeting. Building designs for several commercial buildings in Islamabad were submitted and approved during the conference.
The committee examined the records of six business schemes. Details from the CDA meeting indicate that Plot No. 2’s design in the Blue Area (F-6/F-7) was approved. Similarly, the Competition Commission of Pakistan’s building plan and design were authorized for Sector G-10/4.

Additionally, the Design Review Committee authorized the building plan and design for the structure at Sector B-17, Street No. 1, Plot No. 5. The meeting also accepted commercial building plans and designs with loss numbers 1586, 1689, 1688, 1685, 1702, and 4400/1701 for sites in Expressway, G-10 Markaz, Service Road East, and Zone 4.
In a different development, the permission for Plot No. 1 and Market No. 5 in Sector I-11/2 was delayed since the architect was absent. Similarly, because legal requirements still needed to be fully met, the approval for Plot No. A-3’s design in Blue Area (F-9/G-9) was postponed until the following meeting.
During the meeting, the Design Review Committee discussed a number of commercial building proposals that showed Islamabad’s continuous planning and development efforts.
