Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) present leadership is committed to moving forward with computerizing the records of residential and commercial assets in the capital of the country.
The Islamabad municipal government has been considering automating property records since nearly nine years ago in an effort to stop fraudulent and illegal cases.
The CDA office has been sending transfer letters for the past six years, but small investors who have been duped by false cases have not received a redress.

Without corrective actions being put in place for the allottees, no substantial or corrective action was taken against the responsible officials.
The entire episode made investors question the CDA’s legitimacy, discouraging them from making investments in Islamabad.
According to the details, a government firm would purportedly be given a government-to-government contract for the automation of property data.
Over a two-year period, the company planned to digitize an estimated 45 million papers.
In addition to other duties, the organization would be in charge of running and maintaining the property record automation system.
