CDA Issues Directives for Completion of Rawal Dam Interchange
According to news reports, Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Noor-ul-Amin Mengal ordered the contractor to complete the Rawal Dam Chowk Interchange by October instead of December.
The Chairman of the CDA inspected the construction site of the project.

During his visit, the Chairman was informed that the Rawal Dam Chowk Interchange includes one underpass, an overhead bridge, numerous slip roads, and an underpass connecting Margalla Town.
However, after speaking with the director, Chairman Noor-ul-Amin Mengal instructed the contractor to expedite the construction work by employing additional personnel and equipment.

To ensure timely completion of the project, the contractor must prioritise slip roads.
The official start date for the 1,100,000,000 PKR project is October 2020, while it was inaugurated in July 2020. At the intersection of Murree Road, Park Road, and Club Road, it is planned to construct the Rawal Dam Chowk Interchange.
