CDA Serves Notices to Illegal Projects in E-11
Islamabad: According to news reports, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has begun sending letters to the developers of unapproved residential and commercial buildings in Sector E-11.

The notice was issued for disregarding the building codes during the construction of high-rise buildings in the area. The issuance of notices is a component of the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) anti-encroachment campaign against illegal real estate developments.
These directives originated straight from the federal government. In response to the orders, the authority has filed First Information Reports (FIRs) against the project developers of residential and commercial buildings for breaking building standards and failing to take particular safety precautions during basement construction.

In a separate development, the CDA Environment Department has initiated a tree-planting campaign in various areas of the city, including Fatima Jinnah Park, Park Enclave, Diplomatic Enclave, Srinagar Highway, 9th Avenue, 10th Avenue, 11th Avenue, Margalla Road, Margalla Hills, National Park, and Islamabad Expressway.
The tree-planting campaign is a component of the national Clean and Green strategy. As part of the program, the department is also establishing Miyawaki woodlands in Sector I-8, 9th Avenue, and Sector F-10.
