Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will launch a fleet of 30 electric buses along a dozen new routes.
An official stated that as the majority of the equipment will need to be brought from Turkey, the AI work may take several weeks since the buses have already been constructed. Then, these buses will leave China and travel to Pakistan.

130 buses will be delivered once the final payment has been made between the Chinese manufacturer and the municipal Federal Government, according to a CDA official.
Under the supervision of the CDA contractor and the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC), these buses would operate on 13 new routes.
According to the agreement, the CDA will pay NRTC Rs. 306-331 for each mile. The first routes consist of:
Aabpara to Taramri Chowk
Nilor to Khanna Pul
Pirwadhai Chowk to Faizabad
B-17 to 26 Number Chungi
I-16 to 26 Number Chungi
