ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans to open a state-of-the-art residential development in Mauza Kuri specifically created for Pakistanis living abroad.
This new project, which spans 14,000 kanals of land along Kuri Road and is close to Park Road, will, according to sources, only be available to Pakistanis living abroad.
The plots included in the plan will be advertised and sold to Pakistanis living abroad in US dollars, boosting the nation’s foreign exchange reserves.
The CDA has approved the hiring of a design consultant for the preliminary stage.

According to the specifics, the choice was decided during a meeting on Thursday that was presided over by Captain (Retd) Anwarul Haque, CDA Chairman.
The chosen consultant will be in charge of supervising the plan’s implementation and carrying out numerous necessary studies, such as those concerning environmental effect, traffic management, and hydrology.
The consultant will also create the infrastructure road development design, making sure that all contemporary amenities are easily incorporated into the plan.
A plan to auction both residential and commercial sites was also authorized during the meeting as a way to deal with the capital’s financial difficulties.
Additionally, the auction is planned to take place at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad from October 17 to October 20.
