ISLAMABAD: An expansive plan to create a Festival Square at F-9 Park has been revealed by the Capital Development Authority (CDA). For the people living in the nation’s capital, this new addition hopes to serve as a centre for delicious food and cultural experiences.
A representative of the CDA claims that in addition to famous restaurants, the Festival Square will serve as a gathering place for fans of folk music. Prominent food brands and companies are welcome to apply to be a part of this lively square. November 1st is the submission deadline, according to the official.
The Festival Square is expected to be a bustling area with food trucks, street entertainers, folk singers, and booths selling handmade goods. The CDA has made it clear that well-known companies with a minimum of five years of history are of special importance to them.

To ensure diversity, the CDA has implemented progressive measures such as allocating stall quotas in the Festival Square. The representative revealed, “We have set aside 40% of the stalls for men, 55% for women, and a special 5% for the transgender community.”
The primary objective of the CDA is to improve the leisure opportunities available on the expansive 750 acres of F-9 Park. “We’re determined to turn F-9 Park into a cutting-edge leisure area. The official continued, “We will use every resource at our disposal to turn it into a model park for the city.
The CDA’s first objective is still safety. The head of the authority has given orders to strengthen security in the park. The official stated, “To maintain a safe and inviting environment for all guests, we will deploy more guards throughout the park in addition to the security professionals stationed at the entry gates.
