CDA Updates Details Regarding Housing Schemes
Islamabad: The civic group has compiled current data on housing societies that will provide important information to anyone wishing to buy a parcel of land or a house in the federal capital.
According to the details, the updated information on the housing societies will be published this week on the municipal organization’s official website.
It is important to remember that the civic organisation provides two-tier approvals for private housing projects.

The Layout Plan (LOP) for the scheme must first gain technical approval. Second, the No Objection Certificates (NOC) for the development of the scheme are issued after the completion of the last criteria. The sponsors may start the development process and the sale of plots after acquiring NOC.
The ICT (Zoning) Regulation, 1992 [amended in 2010] permits agro farming and residential housing developments in Zone 4, and CDA issues licences following the conclusion of the required procedures.
Additionally, it is illegal and banned to market or advertise housing projects without CDA clearance.
Additionally, sponsors have been told not to advertise or build housing developments without the CDA’s OK. According to several groups within the community, anyone looking to invest in real estate in Islamabad should be extremely wary of the unlawful housing societies.
