ISLAMABAD: In order to modify the Islamabad Master Plan Commission, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has contacted the federal government once more. According to the specifics, a summary has been sent to the federal cabinet for the commission’s reorganization.
According to the specifics, CDA has suggested the Master Plan Commission be staffed with fresh faces. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) administration first established the commission. The panel, however, stopped functioning once the PTI’s administration was overthrown.

According to CDA authorities, the Master Plan Revision Commission has already delivered its initial report. According to the CDA officials, the commission has made recommendations about building bylaws and regularization.
International consultants will be retained after the initial report to modify the master plan. There will also be dialogue with the Greek government in this regard.
Officials suggested that the firm that created the master plan for Islamabad in the beginning might also be consulted. It’s interesting to note that the initial master plan was created with input from the son of the Greek consultant who now owns “Doxiadis Associates Firm.”
