Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) sold nearly 11.141 billion dollars on the second day of the plot auction. So far, five plots have been sold with success, bringing in around 11 billion Pakistani Rupees in revenue. These plots will be up for purchase at the Gandhara Citizen Center, F-9 Park, Islamabad, till January 12, 2024.
On the second day of the auction, the CDA noticed significant participation and achieved great success compared to earlier event days. It raised Rs. 3.3 billion by auctioning off a 3888.88 square yard plot for an apartment in Diplomatic Enclave for Rs. 860,000 per square yard. The cash-strapped CDA was relieved after this plot sold because it had raised over 11 billion on day two.

On the first day, four plots were auctioned by the CDA for a total of Rs. 7.79 billion. Contrary to former practice, which called for auctions to be performed frequently after a 6-month gap. Only three months after its last auction, the civic organization was forced to hold auctions due to budgetary difficulties.
