CDWP Approves Six Projects of RS 52 Billion
A total of six development projects totaling Rs. 52 billion were approved by the Central Development Working Party (CDWP).
Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, the deputy chairman of the Planning Commission, presided over the CDWP meeting while it was taking place here. Senior members of the Planning Commission, senior representatives from federal ministries/divisions, and Secretary of Planning Hamed Yaqoob Sheikh attended.

The CDWP accepted the “Construction of Black Top Road from Duki to Chamalang (105 km) with Link Road (55 km),” a transportation and communications project worth Rs. 6.519 billion.
In addition, a project worth Rs9.752 billion to widen, improve, and reconstruct the roads from Khani Cross to Ziarat (70 km) and Ziarat to Sanjani (64 km) was approved at the meeting.
The CDWP also gave its approval to projects put forth by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), including “Restoration & Revamping of Mehmodabad Nullah and its Tributaries” worth Rs. 8.657 billion, “Restoration & Revamping of Gujar Nullah” worth Rs. 9.982 billion, “Restoration & Revamping of Orangi Nullah” worth Rs. 9.056 billion, and the final project, “
