CDWP Endorses Karachi IT Park Project to ECNEC
The CDWP meeting, chaired by Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, approved a development project with an estimated total cost of Rs. We recommended two projects of 10,000 rupees. Further consideration.

Presented at the meeting was a project related to information technology, ‘Establishment of IT Park Karachi’ worth Rs.
The project aims to increase competitiveness through value creation, innovation and adoption of technology, as detailed from time to time in various documents such as Pakistan Vision 2025, Digital Pakistan Policy (2018) and Telecommunications Policy (2015). It envisions the development of a knowledge-based economy.

A first-class consultant must be hired to implement the project A state-of-the-art building of international standards must be constructed.
He stressed that time-bound activities should be planned and timely completion of projects should be ensured. The forum has ordered state governments to bear the vehicle and administrative costs.

The PAEC’s project for a cancer hospital in Muzaffarabad worth Rs 3,413,947 million was also approved by the CDWP.
